oh i dunno, i bought some pretty awesome parts that werent pre-done deals. got a edelbrock tri-power setup for a Y-block with carbs for a very good price, some f100 wheels for a total steal, plus a few other bits and bobs, as well as all the pre-done deals on, and the '40 cab on the trailer is mine!

I had a good time too and FINALLY found some wheels for the Commer, but i just wish it went on a little longer.
I realise some folk have an awful long way to go home (and NSRA staff are going to be on-site long after we public leave) but there were some traders packing up and leaving pretty damn early, I thought...

Me and Kev were one of the last traders to leave at about 4.30pm, and my route home was Essex - Aslackby,Lincs - Stoke - North Wales - Barnsley. Got in about 3.30am.
Reinforced my view on southerners been soft lol.
Was a good day though, sold lots, bought little (nothing infact, just picked up stuff I'd bought already).

That sounds like a pretty good stint, good effort! If everyone adopted the same ethos there wouldn't be some folk packing up and leaving while some of us are still on our first sweep of the stalls... (Or maybe I just need to to learn to shop faster!) Had a great time though; I just love a swap meet / auto jumble! I'd rather be nosing through piles of rusty and/or oily parts than looking at rows of shiny, finished cars any day...!
