Anyone going? I've been the last two years and thought it was really good, very close but fair racing from a variety of championships. Every thing from big capacity single seaters to classic touring cars. £12 on the day per day. This year's entries are looking good. More information here. Some pics from last year... Regards, Matt

Wish id taken some pics, this year was pretty damn good. Was also right in front of the grid when the f3 crash happened on sunday, Lots of flying bits..
don't suppose you saw what happened to the Lotus cortina that was totalled did you? I got there sunday and it was sat on a trailer folded up. Happened saturday...
Oh and the hesketh f1 car was bonkers! Lapped everyone on sunday , Stupidly quick. Think the guy was happy to be able to open the thing up on the uk's fastest track

Think the guy was happy to be able to open the thing up on the uk's fastest track Great weekend although the clubman accident on Sunday was terrible so I was glad to hear he was released from hospital on Monday. The cortina rolled heavily between noble and village during Saturday qualifying, that was the first run for the engine in that car as well! The noise of the Hesketh was awesome and a rare chance to see a proper F1 car around Thruxton. I'll put some pics up later.

How did I miss this? I live in Andover as well! I can honestly say I would be sick if that were my Cortina, such are the dangers of racing though!
