Are the spouts the drain ports on the bottom of the float chamber or from the over flows?
You need to replicate the angle the carbs were mounted on the bike, otherwise the floats will not shut before they flood.

From what i have been reading the angle does not need to be the same. But yeah i agree it would be ideal if i could replicate it but on the bike they were almost virtical. Rubbish generic pic but heres where they leak from:

I'm interested in the out come of this as my mate has a similar issue with his carbs, my first thought was it could be a return to the tank but tbh weve not looked at it recently

They're the float bowl drains.
The screw in the side is a taper seat, so either they sent seated correctly or you are over pressurising them.

The drains where loose, my error!
Anyways now they are leaking from other places. Maybe these cbr600 F2 carbs are not to be used with a bike fuel pump.

If they leak then the floats are not closing.
Either stuck float / too high fuel pressure or Wrong mounting angle - fuel level is reaching the overflows before float valve closes. Adjust the float height or reset angle.

My carbs leaked when I first plumbed them in. Float needle valves get stuck and you get leaks out of the vents at the top. A good clean and blow out with compressed air helps them seal better, set your float heights whilst your at it.
