I thought I'd start a thread with some details of our cars, I decided to put them all in one thread as it'll be easier to keep it updated, I'll start new threads for the ones we're doing work on. First off, our Reliant Scimitar SE5a. We restored this back in 1991 for a customer, when we would source and restore Scimitars to customers spec. This one had all the best options, including galvanised chassis, powder coated suspension components etc. The customer bought it back to us twice a year for a major service and MOT then a small service, clocking up over 100,000 miles in that time. In 2013 he decided he wasn't getting the use out of it, having only done 250 miles since the last MOT so decided to hand it over to us to either keep and use or sell on. We have decided to keep it and use to show how our restorations look after 20+ years and over 100,000 miles, not an easy advert to get! When it was finished in 1991: Outside our new workshop in 2014: Alex B

Our Marcos GT. I've been a fan of these since we first worked on them over 15 years ago, I tried to get one as my first car but for various reasons I couldn't, then I got into the modified/J scene and forgot about them until I mate was selling his late uncles, it's a generation 2, supplied when Marcos restarted in the '80s supplying cars in kit form only. The big selling point with this one is it has the Essex V6 which dad obviously knows plenty about being the same engine fitted to the Scimitars. This one has been in a barn since 1995 so needs a fair amount of tidying up, mostly on the bodywork as it's covered in micro blisters and panel fit is pretty awful! I've been through it tidying up the wiring and mechanics, still got a few little jobs to do before I can use it but I'm not doing any more than I have to before I get it on the road. Delivery day :-D Not much has changed cosmetically, I've fitted new fuel line front to back, rebuilt the Weber carb, fitted a bigger fan though I think it may need a bigger radiator too, patched up the exhaust though that's on the list to change once I've done a few miles, full service with all new ignition components, it now runs really nicely and appears to be a good Essex V6. R32 GTR. I've had my GTR for 12 years, I took it off the road in 2006 to paint the bonnet and front bumper to prep it for sale, fortunately walking past it everyday in the workshop made me change my mind on selling it, so instead I decided to give it a repaint as the old paint was pretty much past it. As with all our projects, this snowballed into a full strip down bare metal respray, now we've restarted our restoration company I've decided to go right through it and basically restore it as they're increasing in value quite rapidly and this is a keeper! When I first got her: With Do-Luck body kit and new suspension: Next to dads GTR in glastonbury: Alex B

1959 Ford F250: We bought this a few years ago as a bit of a project but it was supposed to be running and stopping. So far, after travelling about 6 miles in it we have put a complete new braking system on it, wheel cylinders, flexis, master cyl, brake pipe etc, everything except the booster (servo), it already had new shoes fitted. Rebuilt the engine as the crank rear main seal had been put in the oil slinger groove, so all the oil was being slung out the back of the engine straight onto the exhaust. Luckily it had been rebuilt with new pistons, rods etc, so all we needed to do was skim the head, cut the valves and valve seats, hone the bores and rebuild with new gaskets. Fit new bed floor, retrim the seat as it's been repadded at some point and is too high. In the workshop ready for work to begin: Engine removed, we decided to tidy up the engine bay while we were at it: Engine out ready for rebuild: I will start a separate thread for this one at some point as we have more progress pics. 1992 GMC Suburban. I bought this to use as my daily, (mainly because my dog was getting scared travelling in cars so I thought this might be big enough to not worry her!), I decided to give it a repaint to help promote our business but that's grown into a full job, repaint, fitting a drop kit, fitting 20" wheels, custom fitting new tail lights etc, it was only supposed to take a few months and be ready for a show last May but with the job getting more serious and work getting too busy, we're now aiming to get it out fresh for next year :-( When I bought it: Lowered and pretty much as it is at the moment: I'll start a separate thread for this one too as there will be loads of pictures. Our other cars: My Nissan S14a, bought completely standard to use as a cheap track/drift car, that plan lasted a few weeks! I'll probably be selling this soon as I barely use it and fancy getting a '50s American, (or '69 SuperBee, if I can find one at the right price!): Our company demo E36, completed in 2005 and winner of several trophies: JZX90 MKII, bought and used as a daily but will be tidied up and repainted etc in the near future: Alex B
