Afternoon, Got a post on these in the what's it worth section but would probably help if I could find out a bit more about them. So 7x13 inch steels, Datsun PCD etc. Says made in the USA on them and I think have a 1981 date stamp. Any idea by who? Any help is much appreciated.

They look like the steels found on sportier Corollas, albeit somewhat wider:

Thanks. Yeah, they do look pretty similar. The chap I got them off was going to use them on a 510 but swapped to 14s.

look like those simon has posted, but re-rimmed. theyve certainly been 'reversed' so are not stock id say.

There is what looks to be a plugged valve hole on the pic so I would say they are the wheels above widened. They do look nice though and done properly.

Thanks guys, much appreciated. Here are the other pics of the stamp in the rim saying 7x13 etc and also the backs, which defo look like a reverse job to me. Just strange with all the markings and can't see a band in them.

Probably re-rimmed in the US. Weller used to do a similar service over here. I used to have a set of TR6 steels with a similar story. TR6 centre welded into an off the shelf aftermarket outer by a specialist. It goes some way to explaining the USA markings on a Japanese made wheels.

Thanks for the info, that sounds spot on. Now to put 'em up for sale because as per normal, and you would've thought I'd know better by now, impulse buys and a lack of space really don't mix.

yep, if you look at THIS THREAD i did a while back, itll show you why the inner sections are cut out like they are, looks like they did the same method as me to remove the centres but used donor wider rim barrels.

Agree with rmad they look like the 'snowflakes' that are on the ae70.
