Here is my 1993 Vauxhall Rascal Camper Conversion, its rather rough around the edges but I intend to restore it and re do the insides etc to make it a day camper/surf van, but firstly on the list is lowering and some wheels, any ideas/suggestions would be most welcome!!! I have seen Mystery Machines Rascal which was how I found this forum!!
Again suggestions etc welcome!!

Great to see one, they're getting rare on the ground now and they're certainly un appreciated, what engine does it have? The same as the the 1litre Suzuki carry, the Suzuki F10A? If it is (and I think it is) it's a great little revvy engine, although I've heard neglected engines can suffer camshaft problems, is it mated to a 4 or 5 speed box?
What are your plans with it? I've always had a soft spot for these wannabe vans,
Edit, I saw you were asking about lowering, I've no idea what suspensions on the front but it's leaf springs on the back so you will need lowering blocks,

What suspension is it on the front? Is it independent? If so I'm sure the springs could be cut, The back should be easy though, have you got a theme in mind for the van? My friends old Suzuki sj (410) had the same engine, it was great little engine that loved to be kept on song,

It's basically going to be a camper/surf van, I want it to be useable on a daily basis, less bouncy but still return it to stock, I think some cut springs could be the way forward but may need to source some new ones and keep the old...?
