And Viva. By the way What do we know about this? I've never seen one before or since. The Brabham Viva was a high performance option pack offered in Australia, I'm not sure if they were offered in the UK or not. Wikipedia says, "This time, apart from the standard and 90 stages of tune, there was also, for a brief time, a Brabham SL/90 HB that was purported to have been developed with the aid of world racing champion Jack Brabham. Brabham models were marked out externally by distinctive lateral black stripes at the front of the bonnet that curved down the wings and then headed back to end in a taper at the front doors. This model is almost impossible to find today. This model and the Viva GT are the two most sought after models made. The Brabham model differed from the standard Viva SL/90 in having a different cam-shaft, uprated suspension with anti-roll bars, different exhaust manifolds, and a unique twin-carb manifold, as well as differing interior trim." en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Vauxhall_Viva

I quite like the 80's Japanese style of having technical specs on the side of the car

I quite like the 80's Japanese style of having technical specs on the side of the car This was the first thing that came to mind when I saw the title! don't know why but I love the graphics on the R30, I have a really weird frankenstein project in my head that Id love to do something like this on giving details of all the different vehicles.

I think I do remember one like that but I'm not sure it was the GTO.. Ah its going to bug me now! This was the first thing that came to mind when I saw the title! don't know why but I love the graphics on the R30, I have a really weird frankenstein project in my head that Id love to do something like this on giving details of all the different vehicles. I'd like to try and do the tech specs but on a totally different car so I could have '8 Valve OHV' proudly emblazoned down the side of my MGB

my (sort of) first car was one of these i say sort of as we bought it to resto but money worked against me (my employer at the time collapsed and it needed a fortune spending on it) my original plan would have been to turn it into a blue (resprayed) cooper lookalike with a new engine, but even repairing it, making it original and road legal would have cost a fortune back in 99

You've gotta love the Sundowner! The Escort Sundowners are really rare, I've only seen one or two at car shows, compared to dozens of genuine Sandmans and thousands of replicas.

SIMCA Rallye 2 with later ('76 on) striping. Earlier cars had stripes as on my '75 Rallye 2 on avatar picture. Late rectangular headlamp car has full length stripes 'Coupe'77 SRT' as fitted to group 2 kitted cars raced in the SIMCA Racing Team series.

I'm now thinking there's some mileage in swapping graphics/ stripes on to the "wrong" cars; Ford Mustang graphics on a Golf, Vauxhall style graphics on a Nissan and so on.
I'll have to crank up photoshop and give it a go.
