I have a Bundle of new old stock vw cables which are all the same
The part numbers are 53360972138/05 I would think probably from a mk2 or 3 golf would anyone know??

Id say its not genuine vw going by that part no, usualy with most vw parts, you can google them. But that number doesnt come up with anything

Either its non-gen or that's not the part number. They all have an identifier in the start of the number, Ie, for mk2 ibizas it will have 6k(x) in the first part of it. The x will be a number 1,2,3. 1 to fit all 6k ibizas, 2 to fit 3 door models and 3 to fit 5 door models. Something like that anyway

If the first 9 digits are anything to go by, they appear to be mk2 scirocco handbrake cables
