There are two cars it the OP that are awesome - slots, and the one on the wide repro RS four spokes. There are also a number of other very cool cars in the thread.
More small Peugeot should wear old ford wheels.

I still miss my 106, for as awful as it was, it was so much fun.

I had an early 1.4 XS (not the XSI). It was fun, skittish and boxy with an engine that liked to be worked, just how i like them. But the build was worse than a Fiat Seicento - i yanked the handbrake up once on the drive and tore the mount off the floor. It was a typical example of why i insist that french cars don't last. Or they at least go through 'the cull' earlier than others. Going by my quote above, you'd think i wouldn't bother with another. But i've just bought myself a silver 3dr 2003 1.1 Independence. Gotta say it feels better than the early model i had many moons ago. Aside from the floppy gear lever and equally floppy rear suspension arms... But it goes surprisingly well for a 1.1, nice ride quality, uses little fuel, nice. Bit girly, you know, what with not being festooned with 'little man syndrome' items such as provision for 48 speakers, more wings than an air show, intolerable noise, excess horsepower, that sort of thing. Nope, just a sensible little car which is enjoyable to drive at sociable speeds. Not much handbag space, though. Door pockets can only really handle lipstick and there's no cup holder for the Starbucks latte. So maybe not. I'm thinking of keeping it. Plans are to sort the issues - the radius arms i think i can handle, but i haven't yet got my head around how to get the gear stick to centre-bias. Obviously i'll want to customise it. Can't just look like everyone else, i'm a geezer ain't i..?! The wheel trims are a bit flower power for me, need some ideas. This topic peaked at the first picture, we need more.
