I hope this is the right place to post this, I know its the right forum as the collective knowlage within these pages always comes up with some great answers.
A few years ago I picked up this Kamei transmission tunnel tray. I was told it was a for a VW Type 3 and it was my plan to put it in my fastback.
When it arrived it was clear before I even went near the car that it wasnt going to fit so in a huff I planked it on a shelf and forgot about it.
I found it today and thought I would post pics to see if anybody could tell what its for.
It looks like its made for left hand drive as there is a cyt out for pedal space at the front.
Distance from the bulkhead end to the centre of the gear lever is about 40cm/16inches.
The car it would fit has a round tunnel at the front but becomes squared off after the gear stick going by the shape of the tray.
Here are the pics, any ideas?
Cheers,
Dave
