Hi fellas,
Just managed to get some old genuine Ford rubber floor mats for my XR3i, they are used and i have scrubbed them and they have come up pretty well, so now they are nice and clean they look a little grey rather than black. Just after some ideas or suggestion on what is best to use or anything you guys have used to revive them please?
Cheers
Davey

Would something like boiled linseed oil that works on bumpers to black them without leaving silicone residue on them work?

Autoglym Vinyl and Rubber care is ideal. I've used it on plenty of rubber cab mats in vans etc.
Spray it on, leave it for a minute then wipe it back off with an old towel or something. It'll blacken the rubber without leaving them (too) slippery.

Cheers fellas, i have some autoglym tyre dressing so might try a little bit of that on the back and see if it is slippery, if it is i will look at getting the rubber and vinyl care.
