I have been told that this is a direct swap and reason it is done is due to something about the ball joint spec? another friend seems to think that they wont fit at all as his parts book says they are different sizes?! ive done a quick google but wanted a RR conformation as I barely trust myself lol. I will be polybushing the lollipops will e36 M3 bushes eccentric or concentric? I have proper M3 top mounts so to match those.. cheers in advance I'm not doing any drifting at all with it but would be nice for it to be prepared for it.. maybe

e30 arms fit i have these on my compact.. e36 ones the outer ball joint is set in rubber! i used the m3 not the evo rear mounts too, i got these from euro car parts and have lasted 8 years so far. cheeper and better thant he polly ones as i hear they fall apart. standard strut top m3 evo top mounts combined gives great handling!

oh all e36 apart from the arms. a good source is chris ransley at CR M-tech for the top mounts, and there is a plate that goes ont he top of the strut they fit to the m3 that spreads the loads up there too. any help needed just ask

My E36 had E30 arms on as well. However, I would also get the M3 rear castor bushes or increased caster bushes from SuperFlex.

ive never used the superflex ones on my car, i have always had the euro car parts ones, but the reason i never went for the superflex ones was i hear the bushes drop out and arnt that good, but the people who told me this also use these bushes on their rally cars.
Maybe ok for fast road but not for any hard work i have heard. The euro ones where £23 a pair when i got them years ago though!

IME the lollypop bushes tend to die quickly in an E36 regardless of what brand you go for short of going SuperFlex or genuine.
I had Powerflex ones on my E36 and they were fine. However, even after a geometry setup I would be lying if I said it drove straighter than my RST or Clio...
