I was trying to find something locally to go to today, found this online and I've never been before so I gave it a go. Good mix of cars and a specific Merc stand at the end of the run, apparently it was Jags on Sunday. I took some photos but had to switch to my phone as the batteries in my camera ran out #fail. Anyways... MG RV8 and MGC One owner from new and retired daily Capri Guy stood next to me at the time reckoned this was worth £400K? DB5 Superleggera #nochrome I didn't realise these were factory! Beauty MG These looked familiar... This Renault was amazing, one of the best cars there I think this was the only Citroen there... Love a VP BMW Commercials... this certainly wasn't factory, the guy built it because he didn't like the lines of the original! Fair few Escorts there, I only caught a couple This could be the best mini I've ever seen, nothing looked out of place and it wasn't a trailer queen! Alfa was fit Modern classic? Or still hated? Pair of 8's Ginetta looked much better in the flesh than this photo I need an Esprit Custom CF was very period 2 Spokes FTW I forgot all about these! i'm going to start looking out for them on ebay, got to be better than an MX5? This Sprite was perfect, the only ome I've ever seen that I wanted I don't know why I don't have a shot of the front of this Elan, I remember starting to take one! I've never seen a whole Piazza in the flesh A non-football Continental OMG Panel Van! There was loads of Cruisers there, I only needed to snap 2. Kids swarmed this P.I.M.P. This was the other, did they make a cabrio? All the others were the usual type Flock I don't know anything about Americans, so I just snap what I like! Fair few Mustangs there, it seems I don't like them... This might be my favourite incarnation :/ I really want a CROWN Vic OMG Actual USDM Fiesta Saloon!!!11 Loved the lights on this T-Bird Estate?! Alot of moderns in the Merc paddock, these were the best. Beautys So yeah... that was that

Nice pics, I forgot this was on, 2 things jump out at me looking at the pics, the first being the mk2 escort rs2000 with the warrior 16v conversion, did you get any pics of the engine bay? The second being the 3 door sierra, that looks lovely, it's nice that it's standard

There was also a completely standard 1.3 Capri there, survived this long without an engine swap, I didn't take a photo of that though.

Thanks for those. I used go to this as it's fairly local but I got so "wee'd off" with the bloke on the PA that it put me off going again. Was he still there, demonstrating his encyclopedic knowledge of cars; along the lines of "What a lot of chrome! I bet that takes you a long time to clean?" and other deeply insightful comments?
No criticism of the cars there, I just don't like the way the event is organised.

He must have learnt abit more now as his only error was saying "that's really rare" to almost everything lol.

Wow, that Mercedes estate conversion is horrendous! Obviously I mean that in a way that I am glad it has survived and continues to exist. Looks like a tacked on fibreglass section.

Rather than start a new thread, I'm just going to add some more photos to this one. I went to Tatton Park last weekend, have been before but didn't remember how massive it was! I took over 200 photos before I just couldn't bring myself to take anymore. There's a selection here and I'll link the album when it's done. Massive volume of people meant it was hard to take a good photo of anything good First up, this Jag was amazing, perfect even. This got a lot of attention, no idea what it was! ERA is on my Lottery Win List, this one was stolen at 6 months old, stripped, recovered and has only recently been finished again. Love a P6 Just as nice as the Renault the week before That 16v again This was Huuuuge Pair of Cats In fact, I like all Rovers... Another pair of cats I went back a few times to get a photo of this, big crowd each time except this! I'd leave it like this I took a better photo of the van, but when I opened it, it's all blurry Yeah, there were a lot of Jags... See... 80 miles from new Dolomite, every time I walked past the guy was trying to convince people it wasn't for sale. Everytime I see one of these now it looks good! Toyota Toyota Googles 1 Broadspeed 2 Broadspeed, no idea of provenance MGR forecort shot <3 I have a thing for VDP Allegro's and P5B's Kit car, so what? Ahh That 1.3 Capri again This... Was in this... Another... yepp This had apparantly lived in a museum in Japan for 12 years, which had "ruined" it, lol. Morgan stand fo't moderns I couldn't believe this was in the car park, must be a harder ride than my mini1
