Hi
I have a Solex 28 CIC carb. On my 1978 Citroen GS 1220.
The issue is that the carb has been incorrectly adjusted in the past. The primary throttle stop screw has been used to set idle speed. The Haynes book & proper Citroen book state that this is factory set and should not be touched. It also states that to set this, micro measuring equipment is used. I take it they mean the clearance between the throttle plate and barrel wall.
The question is, does anyone know how to set this? There is virtually no info on the net for these carbs & my Haynes carb book does not even have any applications for the GS.
