i recently got a new 421 manifold, and the diameter of the bore is 57mm.. my standard centre pipe is only 50mm so would like to get a 2m length of stainless steel and get it bent to the same shape as my current centre pipe. Does anyone know how much id be looking at paying for this??.... id buy the tubing myself as i can get it pretty cheap, but the bending is where ill have problems , as i cant hire a hydraulic pipe bender local to me id supply a centre pipe for a 'template' and the 2m long 57mm stainless steel tube. Preferably in the London/Hertfordshire areas. Thanks in advance!!!

Try longlife dealers etc, may have a depot near you, if you can take the parts down to them they might be okay to do the bends etc for a small amount? Hope they can help you

What rusty said, only other alternative would be to buy pre-bent sections, if you can weld then that would be your cheapest option (bit more labour intensive though), done that with a few of my exhausts.

Thanks guys I'm not a welder unfortunately ... owning a ford, you'd think id have a welder by now No longlife, but i have a powerflow dealer local to me, but they're extortionately priced. so wasnt even going to try them. I have read welding bends together would be easier, but that might cost a lot more than what this way might potentially cost

I was going to suggest Powerflow, the last two cars I've had them do came in at £300 each for full systems made on the car. Can't fault the quality or fit and for the time it takes them, I wouldn't call it expensive either.

oh don't get me wrong mate, the quality is good from powerflow... when i had a 16v fiesta si back in about 2009, i got a cat-back done there for it, cost about £140 ! ... , used to sound the nuts, set car alarms off with the decat haha. i loved it.
But its a bit pricey for me atm, I'm trying to do everything as good and as cheap as possible. Just thought if i made my own pipe, or got one done, it wouldnt take long/or cost much

I wouldn't bother with that flexible stuff. In my experience it cracks and falls apart. Although it's not as bad as the galvanised stuff.
There's a block up near Rugby bends tube. He also does roll cages. Had a few bends off him for reasonable money.
Might be worth seeing if there's anyone near you does the same kind of thing

i had a look at some reviews for it and most people have said it just goes solid and falls apart. so probably not best for a complete centre section.
Rugby is quite far away from me mate, iv emailed a few places and they have said the 57mm pipe is too big for them.

Just look for local engineering shops and give them a ring , if they cannot they will more than likely be able to out you on to somewhere , and no doubt cheaper than flashy high street type places . Even from professional place it should not cost much if its straight pipe with a few bends . They may even be able to do it in one piece .
One thing to bare in mind is and fixings you need for it that need hangers welded on as well .
