For sale, the 340kg rated heavy duty engine stand by Clarke (bought new from Machine Mart in Bristol)
This is far superior to the 220kg stand. It is a lot more stable with a square footprint and four castors (as opposed to three) and, obviously, a lot more sturdy too...
Cosmetically it has some scuffs and general marking, but this in no way affects its function to hold engines. I had a Dodge V8 (solid pig iron) mounted on this and it was absolutely rock solid. It also wheeled around the rough floor of the unit wothout any stability issues at all.
I'm only selling because the need for it is far less than it used to be so it's probably better off being used by someone else.
Excellent overall condition, absolutely nothing defective regarding its function whatsoever. It does unbolt and pack down into a small space, it would fit in the boot of pretty much any car...I carried it in a Smart car, for example.
