Quickie: The gf has a 2000 (ish) K11, and I need to get a replacement tailgate for it. After some thorough research (reading the wikipedia page) I have noted that there were some changes on two occasions. I reckon hers was a facelift, but not after the second facelift. Does it matter which era tailgate I get?

To me they look pretty similar, are they interchangeable?
Edit: Hers seems be 2nd facelift I think - the nissan badge is above the number plate light cover thing, but - the wiper parks in an upright position though.

Cant see why not, don't think there is actually any difference in the steel, think it's just the boot handle that is different.
I don't know if there were quality issues with the pain on the boot of the 2nd lift cars though, as my mums paint came off with a hose - my 1st lift didn't even with a pressure washer (her's was defo OE paint as she bought it new)

Cool, thanks. Hinges and catch etc all the same too? Edit: the green one looks nice with those wheels (revolutions?) Wonder if she would like a set for her bday  |
