Hi, I had a rear brake cylinder replaced for the MOT on my Bedford Midi and have now found brake fluid dripping from my clutch pedal, the leak seems to be coming from clutch master cylinder. The brake and clutch master cylinders share the same reservoir. It doesn't seem to be still leaking further and the clutch seems to still work fine. Is it likely that garage could have used a bleeding tool, when fitting the wheel cylinder, using compressed air which has caused my clutch master cylinder to leak as they share the same reservoir? I cant locate a replacement online in the UK, I'll ring some motor factors tomorrow but has anyone got any ideas where I could get a rebuild kit or a replacement? I'm supposed to be going camping in it this week I'm thinking maybe a rebuild kit an other rebadged Isuzu such as Frontera or Brava might work as these have the same bore of 15.87mm, but this would be a last resort. Cheers Oli

I done the clutch master cylinder with a bargain seal kit and it's fixed the problem, took about 40 mins. And then another 4 hours trying to bleed the system with a rounded bleed nipple haha

Where did you get the kit? I was thinking the seals might be the same in fronteras and TFs, seems to have stopped leaking now, done a bit of reading on the frontera/trooper forums and where the reservoir attaches with the big jubilee clip seems to be the likely candidate, especially if the garage used a compressed air easi bleed on the reservoir cap when the changed the wheel cylinder. Fingers crossed for now. Just done 30 miles in it, the exhaust smells a bit fuelly think the choke is sticking now.

Get onto Big Redd. Make sure they send the right one out as they're reluctant to refund or replace. Internally, most cylinders use the same seals, so there's not a lot of variety. They're very easy to do as well, and cleaning out improves the pedal feel greatly.
