Hello chaps.
I thought where better to ask than here.
I have a little project up my sleeve currently and I am trying to think of a cheap short term paint option whilst we iron a few things out in the testing process, nobody wants to go welding brackets and fittings into a brand new paint job.
I have concluded that the temporary fix will be either a matte or satin green, brown or black. It is very hard for me to not think of those funky shark teeth decals when I think of that kind of colour scheme.
Sometimes the idea works, sometimes it doesn't. After trawling through Google I have a fair idea but am very aware that us retro rides users like to stash photos of awesomeness away, meanwhile the images are no longer easily found online. What I am asking here is can you please share your awesome photos of shark toothed vehicles, be it an automobile, an aircraft, boat, or anything that would tick a mechanically minded guys boxes.
I usually like to start this kind of thing off with a few photos but am posting from my phone so will have to pass the first photo trophy onto some one else.
Look forward to seeing what happens. Cheers!

I´ve got no time atm to search but there has been a thread with pics. IIRC the owner of the green goddess (look for that term) was involved, can´t remember his name here, but his healey has those shark teeth and maybe he started that particular thread?! Frankenhealey is his name, and it was indeed him that started the Sharks Teeth thread... retrorides.proboards.com/thread/118857/show-me-sharks-teeth-graphics?page=1

Top grammar tips! Bought = purchased. Brought = relocated Lose = misplace/opposite of win. Loose = your mum

Thanks very much everyone for the photos and the links. After a bit of thought I think it has to be done.
Can anyone advise. Are these painted on or is there a vinyl supplier offering them in a decent enough size?
Thanks again.

Ah ha! I found that one last night on eBay and had already saved it. Seems to be the only ones on decent enough sizes.
I will be sure to post up some photos, although it will probably look cack! I am also toying with the idea of painting them on!

For authenticity you want to paint them on, masking tape and a brush with some black, white and red

Aside from the S2000 posted above, I have to confess a real dislike for everything posted above. I think they've all been ruined. Especially that poor BMW. The rat look, mega camber and slammed so low you can't see the top of the alloys, let alone the tyre just strike me as ugly, daft or simply, 'why?'. Each to their own and all that but still can't understand it.

Thread doesn't need to turn into an argument... mertzman has state his preference badly.. then stated it in a more suitable manner. Let's move on.

I have to say, they don't work very well on a number of those pictures. Going back to the origins on WW2 planes, the mouth is close to the nose and actually looks like a shark from profile. Most of the above look like random graphics just slapped on - no resemblance to a shark whatsoever. The BMWs have a less tenuous link being shark noses... The S2000, drift car and Porsche ^^ etc work way better. My advice: get creative, don't buy ebay stickers to follow a trend. What's it going on anyway?
