How about MK1 Clio RSI alloys? 14" 6J. We had some refurbished in "Shadow Chrome" and fitted to my other half's funky coloured Micra. Just a little bit of dish to them, but enough to look 'factory', but nice in my opinion.

Thanks for the pics Mystery Machine, they are quite nice. I think I have just learned something, I like simple, uncluttered wheels. I don't like the way the spokes are kind of split in half. I seem to like my wheels to look, kind of solid and smooth. stuff like this... and this My personal favourites for 205's, Fondmetal 4000's. 15x7 and available in the correct PCD, centre bore and appropriate offsets for 205's as well. Not cheap or easy to get hold of though i'm afraid. But I think with the above post you'll like them:

Hi there mate I have a set of peugeot/ guttman wheels on my peugeot 309 look good and they weren,t expensive, also try exip alloys. You can get deeper dish versions aswell. If you know someone that speaks french or understands french try leboncoin.fr and alloys are called jantes in france. Hope this helps.

I've got 13x7 Capri pepper pots on mine Be careful what size you go for, I think most 15's, including 1.9 GTi wheels will be a struggle on a lowered non GTi without fairly low profile tyres. However having said that I have always wanted to try and fit Saab super aeros to mine Photochop

306 XSi steels with thier hubcaps would look ace, although not sure how wide you can go on the back of a non GTi 205 before having arch issues.

I'd just clean them up and paint them white again with some mud flaps for the rally slag look ?

Found a pic of a pluton in black. It's a bit grubby but you get the idea.
