There is a cool Fiat 127 in the work car park from time to time: 2015-09-11_08-33-41 by duncancmartin, on Flickr I've also seen a nice spridget, and one of the senior guys in work has a Healey 3000 and a 1920s Rolls (no photos of that on flickr). There are often assorted fancy moderns - the only one I like is the C63 merc. Though the i8 and Ferrari California owned by some of the london brass are also pretty cool... 2015-09-11_08-34-50 by duncancmartin, on Flickr 2015-09-11_08-34-26 by duncancmartin, on Flickr

That efigy is awesome, had to do some digging and.
At work all I usually see are standard moderns a few lowered tuned hatches, a graffiti Honda on air and a bubble arched mk1 escort. But our neighbor is prestwick airport so there's occasional interesting things over the fence. A few years ago one of the G summits took place so we had various world leaders private planes parked next to us, except the two USA 747s which were hidden in a hanger. Supposedly strange private jets used for rendition flights. For the last two years It's home to the scottish airshow, so visitors have included spitfires, huricanes, lancasters, flying fortresses, Catalina flying boat, Vulcan and also the red arrows, who also take off, land, taxi and park in formations. The other side of work is the naval rescue base so often have low flying sea kings rattling by Sorry can't find any pictures Ttfn Glenn

That would be a Range Rover Evoque convertible prototype..... I see them every day at the moment, and well the less said the better, lol What he said. They are indeed Evoque Convertibles in prototype form, apparantly they failed the crash tests catastrophically, probably by having the roof cut off, so came to a place on our estate to be rectified. Beautiful looking car though. Theres a lot of last minute 'engineering' going on......

Mostly I work on boring trade fodder but occasionally I get my hands on stuff like this stunning pair of Bentley S3's. I have a real soft spot for the Mulliner Park Ward coupe.

Working in the workshop for a construction/developers/plant hire company all i see is fields as were on a farm and diggers from very tiny to massave to piles of sand and gravel to our tippers and vans. All very boring i but fun to play with a big digger on a massive heap of dirt when you hate heights!!!!!!

Usually stuck in the workshop, making roller shutter doors, but sometimes I get to go out and fit them and occasionally there'll be something lurking in the shed, nothing car related yet though...... 'world electric water speed record contender' and then there was this.....

I'm lucky in that I get to see all manner of modified machinery daily in my job - but these days pretty much always on the computer screen. :-( My daily view is out of my kitchen window.

About twenty BMW Z4s heading north through north Northumberland just after 1pm... It was like a rolling roadblock of menopause.

I get to see this. Sometimes bits of it move... sometimes it's warmer I get to see something very similar. The top one is dropping down toward London Bridge, from Blackfriars. I come the other way, fromCharing Cross. The other one I'm not immediately familiar with, so I probably don't sign it. Is it on the "Chatham"? Whereabouts are you based? I'm at Ashford.

Yeah, the first one's the Blackfriars Spur although to be fair we're not going round there just now due to the hilariously named "Thameslink 2000" works... what is it, now? Oh, yeah... 2015 The second one is the Brighton Mainline between Clayton and Patcham tunnels. In weather that makes you fear the dreaded MITRAC message "Full load shed imminent" is just around the corner I'm at Brighton, for my sins

and then there was this..... Awesome! Hawker Hunter, guessing at an F.mk6, though it could be the better engined FGA Mk9. Not a spotter, I am an aircraft engineer and the first live aircraft I worked on back when I was an apprentice was a single seat hunter FGA mk9. These days it's mainly 40yr old BAE Hawks but there are a few other interesting aeroplanes here including a wartime Harvard, Tornados, Tucanos, Alpha-jets and the odd visiting Herc. No pictures I'm afraid, photography is strictly prohibited as it is an MoD airfield.

Most days, one or more of these is parked up outside my window. And then occasionally, one of the 2-winged Master Race will take one out for a spin and make it do stuff like this.

Now that's a heck of a range of cars, must get to have some good chats with the owners too. I get to admire these on the way to get a coffee of a morning I get to go there sometimes with work I'm quite lucky, as I get paid to visit lots of vehicle manufacturers. I'm not normally able to take photos though The work car park is normally quite dull, but this happened last week:
