I pick this little beauty up tomorrow I have something very very special planned for it, but you'll have to wait and see... I guarantee it will not be your average Jeep replica

Unless someone has been swapping hardtops, It's not the one I owned about 25 years ago..
EDIT: just checked and my old one hasn't been taxed since 1993 (which is probably when I sold it!).

Mine had somewhat larger wheels, a Capri axle and the hardtop window cutouts were larger (plus the windows held in with nylon screws instead of a rubber seal.
It was yellow though!

I haven't seen a Jago Jeep for about 20 years. When I was about 20 I got brochures from Jago, Dutton and Marlin hoping that I would build one of their products. It never happened of course but I did get to own a Marlin Roadster a few years ago. I still would like a Jago though. Wish I'd kept those brochures as there was a cracker picture in it of a red Jeep screeching round a tight corner with one wheel wagging in the air. I'll be watching this thread with interest.

Looks like it's going to be interesting. Really fun, solid little tool. A mate had one years ago. I didn't know you had one Mr. Howard?
