Thouroughly enjoyed reading that, thank you for taking the time to put together such interesting posts. I was wondering why there were no spectators at the lower viewing till your explantion, that must have hit the pockets of the organisers and must have been why always busy pits were even busier. So many pictures I wanted to coment on but will keep it brief, Jim Tiller is a legend, I couldnt watch him sometimes back in the 80's with the longer track and no speed restrictions, sat bolt upright wearing an open face crash helmet, fighting that Allard the full length of the track wheels still spinning at I'm sure 150+ mph speeds. Nadine Geary, another character that stands out for me, not your usual racer. thanks again.

Really enjoyed reading that. The next best thing to being there. I like the fact that you put so much information and personal details into an event report, much more than you could ever get in a magazine for example. I don't think I was aware before just how big an event this was. I used to think it was basically a few old gents in Jaguars and Astons, blasting up the sea front, just for old time's sake, before pimms-o-clock (which doesn't sound such a bad idea actually) but it's so much bigger and more diverse than that.

Utterly, utterly brilliant.
Just nicely used up a bit of time early on a Sunday morning whilst I await the supermarket opening and I can get some pig-fish, as requested by my Little Bottle Openers for their tea. See what an exciting life us expats lead?
Thanks again for taking the time for these reports. Fantastic.

Sorry! I missed loads, to be fair Next year I'm gonna be one of those annoying giffers who sets up pitch with a folding chair and thermos right at the front of the fence and doesn't move all day for anything short of the end of the world
