A 1956 Mobylette/Motobecane AV32.
[
Looks like it needs a new magneto backing plate to be able to set the timing properly as thread is gone in the points screw, although you may mind find it doesn't!
New brake cables and chains, tyres, brake blocks, seat isn't original but fits the look, new front axle as the original was bent, regreased all the bearings and generally serviced.
It also has a kit from a guy in Europe which moves the condensor out of the magneto to cure overheating which was a common fault with these bikes, its the blue thing poking out the top of the covers. This cost £90 alone as it has all new parts.
I have had it this moped running but it needs the timing resetting
It was dated by some guys on a Mobylette internet site to be a 1956 model.
Beautiful original sunburned patina.
No V5, NOT UK registered.
Collection only from NR21.
£400 o.b.o
Any questions just ask. Viewings welcome.
