Can it ever be or is it a contradiction of terms. I usually loathe three spokes but seeing a rover 800 with them - and for some reason they just look 'right'. Am I going nuts? Anyone else got some decent looking cars with three spokes on em? Saw it on ebay at the mo, shame the current owner completely screwed it over

Yes, they DO look good on Rovers. There used to be a later shape R800 round here with them on in 18in flava. I liked it

big inch 3 spokes are cool its when people put 13" ones with 85 profile tyres on their novas that it looks curse word.

This thread should be titled "Three-spoke BADNESS"

Good three-spokes: Saab know how to do it. There were probably a hundred times as many 'bad' three spokes as good ones. The rover pictured up top made me gag a little, like the taste of month-old mayonnaise.

On MR2 club, this lad got a bit of flaming, the size did not help, 17's are frowned on too. I think they have potential. specially in black or gunmetal etc from the same thread: Oooofff technically 6 spokes?

it doesn't matter if it's a Morris Marina or a Toyota Celica - it's what you do with it that counts

I was hoping someone would post up Super Advans, I was going to otherwise. One of my favourite wheels!

Three spoke are just wrong, sorry Tigran.
I admire your shoehorning of big GM engine into Rover & also your cool Viva ownership, but this is too far mate.

See, I think that MR2 works. Looks very "period" whilst still being quite pure and not adorned with naffness.
AM I JUST MISUNDERSTOOD?
