I am trying to find people interested on working on helping to run classic race cars, I do a number of races each year in classic race cars and could do with some help, have lotus Elise, triumph dolomite sprint and building Peranah Capri and Ginetta G15, do you have the inclination? If so pleas get in touch, Derbyshire area. Have all the kit welder lathes milling machines ramps etc so if you are retired, a newby or just want to play with cars and have some time please get in touch

I work on and restore classic sports cars as my day job, I'm based in Chesterfield. Classic Motorsport is a huge interest of mine, I try to get to as many races as a spectator as possible and visit the le mans classic every other year. I use to work at ric wooods and b&j doing this many many years ago. I got out of the trade but miss the race day buzz . I was more into the engine machining and building but did sort suspension and drive train out. I still have a lot of friends that race but spectating isn't as good as getting your hands dirty.

I wish i was mechanically minded as i'm in the Derby area. I'm in Ilkeston & have been scouring for an affordable lockup for ages! Have a single garage about half mile from home but its tiny & with no power so very frustrating |

I wish i was mechanically minded as i'm in the Derby area. I'm in Ilkeston & have been scouring for an affordable lockup for ages! Have a single garage about half mile from home but its tiny & with no power so very frustrating I know the feeling mate, I had a garage, now power and could just about get out of the car, I'm just looking for somewhere where can make new friends, and have banter at a lockup. |

Ayup, I live in Ashbourne and I'm a huge petrol head, into my classic's, I used to be an engine builder for the R&D dept at JCB, and built e-types before that, I'd love to get involved mate.
