Gabba Gabba Hey Retro fans! I think I start a thread like this every couple of months ranging from Subarus to Simsons so that should really give you an idea of where I am car wise! I drive a 2002 Corolla T-Sport and whilst it is a thoroughly good car and can make me grin a bit, it isn't exactly cool! I spent a good percentage of the summer riding from skate park to skate park in my mates S10 with the BMXs in the bed. It was super cool so I have recently been checking Mobile.de etc and have seen they are also mega cheap! Also I read somewhere that 2016 is the year of the minitruck!! Has anyone on here owned one and got any experiences to tell? My mate loves his and says it's the best thing he has ever had, although his last car was a Taunus that hat more rot than carpet! Also post photos of cool ones!! Prost! Rob

IThink you may be right about their unpopularity in UK/Europe. I see a lot of American trucks at show and cruises but can't recall many or any S10s. I'd guess that people that like US cars over here mostly subscribe to the bigger is better philosophy.
As for the "world's fatest" tag..........? There's a massive difference between road legal (in which country) and driven.

There's a massive difference between road legal (in which country) and driven. It's strange because they are plentiful and lend themselves to many different types of modification. I love them anyway! I don't even think it's because they are a bit modern because the F150 and Dodge Ram seem to have quite a big following. I saw a video of the S10 and it was title Worlds QUICKEST street legal car. Either way it is bloody quick!

I used to have a Schumacher SST 2000 R/C car and had a Chevy S10 body shell with the same paint scheme (I had slightly forgotten about this until my dad just reminded me!) But yes as I said in my last post I need to keep thinking with my head and not let my heart get carried away. But it does look cool and has a 120L LPG tank installed so might even be sort of practical! Edit: qwerty Super cool photo blog man!

I've half given up on it, the internet connection at home is so bad tumblr really doesn't like loading.

I bought it off my mate. It's the very S10 that started me wanting one in the first place. It needs 2 front tyres and a brake caliper but other than that it is OK. It has a flowmaster exhaust on it which is the loudest thing in the world! it sounds amazing!
