Hello guys just need to pick the brains of a tyre expert, right I know someone's already done a thread about tyre changers and I have already decided to buy a manual tyre changer just to change the odd tyre at home, I wasn't going to balance but If it's really needs balancing with a heavy wooble then I will get it balanced, I seen manual bubble balancers on eBay but don't know how good they are do leaving that, also I'm stuck on what valves I will need to keep In stock I seen TR414, TR412, TR418 etc etc but don't know what valve is commonly used on car tyres and why so any different TR numbers and what does it all mean, the basic set up I'm thinking is a pack of tyre valves, tyre valve tool, tyre manual machine, is this good enough? will bolt the machine on a concrete floor but is there any special studding or and fitting that will be best to use, all help and advice appriciated in advance

go down to your local independent tyre dealer & ask if they have any old fitting kit they want to sell , just to get started , 412 valves are small ( about an inch long ) 414 were the normal ones , 418 were long for going through wheel trims ,again ask at tyre dealers to look at them .
