How easy is this? Whats the process? Is it a two man job or could I and my angel grinder have this sorted in an afternoon.

Flipping the rear leaf springs, or flipping the rear axle?
If so on what?
I did it last year on my caddy. Front were simple, swapped them out for Ml2 golf units.
Rear axle was pretty simple, new saddles, weld them on the other side to where they currently are. Disconnect your brake lines and hand brake cables, drop it out and mount it on top of the springs.
I did it at work on our lunch hour, that included welding the new saddles on, bleeding the brakes and getting the thing back on the floor. There was 4 of us though.
Remember some vehicles will need lowering plates that bolt between the lead and the body. When I flipped my caddy axle the rear end was so low it was pretty much useless, I made some adjusters up and with my flopped axle and my adjusters on the highest setting I took a whole drivetrain and engine conversion from a VR6 in the back, with an engine crane and it didn't scrub or scrape.

Its a black cab fx4. I just want to lower it a touch. Not to the floor, but enough.

set of lowering blocks and longer U bolts would seem the cheapest option, and universal fit (to a degree)
