Car pictures using my 35mm (getting back into film)

Hi all, just thought i'd post some car pics i've been taking since last summer. I decided to get back into 35mm film as my lumix camera didn't really inspire me and i just tend to take too many photos (i printed off 125 from my first USA tour!) .
I kinda got into it all in a big way over the last few months and started a blog about it www.the35mmlife.wordpress.com to document how i get on and my photos. I have an instagram under th35mmlife to. Hope you like these! any comments welcome. 
These are all taken with a Nikon FG-20 & a Fed 3. In Manchester and Los Angeles when out there making a record last month.

^^^^^^love those pictures, there's just something about film, that I like, I don't know digital is handy but also a bit to clinical.

About 12 years ago I went to an evening classes at a local college to learn how to devolop and process black and white film. It was the very last course they ran, they sold all the developing equipment off to go digital, only real bonus was my dad was the president of the local photography club and secured pretty much all of it for a small sum.

My dad has always shot with Nikon and over the past few years he has picked up some amazing high tech film cameras, lenses, filters etc for literally pence.

Thanks guys, Glad you like em!!! yeah i'm really enjoying film and thinking of getting some better film like Kodak portra or ektar. just to see if i can get around some of the grain and keep the warmth.

The Nikon with the 28mm is a steel! i've got a 28 on a Minolta that is good. wish i had a Nikon 28mm but they're a bit expensive!

hmmm, my father gave me free reign of his Canon A-1 35mm SLR a couple of years ago, maybe I should start using it.

Whats the process for converting them onto a pc?

They look good and have depth and warmth to them

As a rule i let ASDA or Boots do it. But sometmies i scan my own with a negscanner.

pistonpopper cheers for the bump on this!! to be honest. i probably have a few new shots (its 1:30am so i'll dig em out tomorrow) but no major progress... mainly got despondent with my cameras and realised i need to stick with the solid 80s Nikon that i grew up around and my Dad has now let me use.

i have two exposed films from my USA trip from L.A. to Las Vegas to Joshua Tree back to L.A. in a Chevy Camero and the recent purchase of my Dads Triumph Spitfire (both yellow soft tops).
I will try the ASDA film developers as i found it was costing too much (hence the exposed film backlog) . The Camera i got down about was a Russian Fed 3. Bought one early last year off Ebay and loved it! so clunky and charismatic but... like classic cars, riddled with faults in the way of light leaks and missing frames. My girlfriend bought me another one for my 29th but, that also has visible light leaks in the shutter curtains :/ so this is where i'm at haha

I did a bit of buying and selling of good film camera's a couple of years ago and was quite happy with some I took, like below

As i said.. heres a few from the archives! I had to slow down a bit on the film pics last year! it got very addictive and i used a lot of my spare cash on cameras etc. I'll get the two rolls from my LA trip developed soon and post them up.
The majority of these pictures are on a 80s Nikon SLR. A couple of the really colourful ones (and poor quality ) will be a Fed 3 and i also used an Minolta with a cheap 28mm lens.
