Yesterday I got to drive a route master bus

My girlfriend new I always wanted to drive a route master bus so for my birthday in November I got a route master bus experience which I managed to do yesterday, and it was bloody great even tho I'm a bus driver, lol

Nice,driven one myself a few times,My missus was once involved in a charity that had one as a promo vehicle.
Definitely an experience with the crash box.always loved the smell and sound at idle.

The one I drove was a later one so was semi auto, but still a great experience I want one lol

My wife's a bus driver, she drove in London and drove route masters, she mostly drove the 73's up Oxford street. Sho loved them, mainly cause she had sod all to do with passengers.

I drove one in the 90's, the company I worked for tended for a contract to paint a load of them & I had to deliver the one we had painted as tester job
