Sadly not ... but they did have an 850 non-estate, but it was static only.

Great pics , enjoyed Saturday more than today due to all the stoppages and the two very serious accidents one where a car rolled off the track and ended up upside down in the pedestrian tunnel. Amazing no one was killed.

Wow that crash,.. I wondered why we couldn't go through the normal pedestrian tunnel... That was hell of a crash, looking for more info/reports that the driver was okay.

In the first crash the driver reportedly has a broken collar bone, however no news on the driver of the Can-Am Lola that crashed this afternoon apart from he's been airlifted to hospital...

Flippin nora! At the Revival that subway would be for badge holders only but still constantly full of people... One of those things you could never even conceive of happening but I bet it results in a slight rearrangement of that tunnel. I can't imagine what was going through the minds of those marshalls as they ran over. I hope someone has bought them lots of beers tonight.

As ever the best thing was the VSCC stuff



I was standing by the fence (some of the only racing I saw (I was in the pits, pressing flesh )), and there were some chaps waiting for the Group 5 demo, kind of gently ridiculing these old, noisy, rough looking cars, kind of amused they were allowed out on the track. That lasted until the first time they came through the chicane, two abrest and sideways. By the second lap they were total converts

The vintage guys are pretty much all so friendly too.

Edwardian cars were great.
A real shame about the crashes, the Lola t70 was literally bent in half, no newson the driver.
I've got a lot of photos to sort through, they'll be sorted soon.

Thanks, but I am a pretender to the Photographic CROWN. I just point and shoot with a bit of very bad panning and hope for the best. I took 250 photos and got about 50 that were ok. I went on Saturday and it was a great day (apart from the wind chill), I really wanted to see the GT40's race and I was not disappointed. Other highlights were the late 70's early 80's touring car race, 1970/80 ground effect F1 cars and of course the 1990's touring cars, just needed some RS500's and M3's to top the day off.
