Owned the Car for the last 5 years now, few pictures over the years


















GTI grey stripe interior to replace to tatty old driver interior.







With my mates Golf, had 13,000 on the clock 








Quickly redid my badges, only had a gloss black, i ended up re doing them matte at a later date 



New crystal clear crosshair headlights, smoked rear lights, German pressed plates, removed the horrid tint and fitted a standard exhaust






New wheels, Bullet one steels 13" staggered 7j and 8j

Brougth a cheap entry level DSLR so started to get some better photos




Attended my first show, Dubs at the Park

Thanks coruas, Nothing too crazy, keep it fairly simple i guess.

I have some BBS RS to build up but its one of those things i can never be bothered to do haha.






polished the lips, some are a bit pitted so might have to re do them!





and the new 1.5" radinox lips for the rears

That looks fantastic - I love how it not been lowered loads, it looks great BUT it's probably also great to drive unlike a lot of the slammed cars. There's a bit of arch gap yes, but I think it looks better for it. The proportions are perfect to me.

This is a beauty!
I had one of these in the same colour, a W-plate with the small rear lights. Had been given a four-light grille, and the GTi stripes along the bottom. Apart from the Granada, it's my favourite car of the ones I've owned.
I sold it to my brother who was going to 'sort it out' before his test. And then he scrapped it...
I've never quite forgiven him for that.

The arch gap does annoy me a little, it has made me want to lower it a few times, it was part of the reason why i wanted the RS wheel too, as i felt 15's would fill the arch more. It is great to drive, really sticks to the corners but the ride is pretty harsh still as they are only budget coilovers.

Love MK1s in Red, its an itch i'll have to scratch at some point!

If it were me I'd come down an Inch/Inch and a half just to lessen the arch gap a tad (still leaving a small gap) Looks great though, very tidy

Decided to make a start on the RS, first one of the rears done







And then the second one, rears all done and looking great if i do say so myself








Having seen how shiney and good the rears looked i really wasnt happy with the front dishes, so i decided to rub them down again and start again;



almost finished the polishing so should have more pictures and a new one built up tonight

To be fair my fingertips arent hurting, its just my arm, will look like a lopsided pop-eye when I'm finished!

So i finished off the first lip last night, heres a progress picture, After and Before
