This car has been floating around facebook and instagram in incomplete form for a while... the mighty Huxley told me about it at Forge Action day last year, you can imagine my response. It is pleasing to see it pretty complete now www.engineswapdepot.com/?p=9908Didn't start from a solid shell! Now it looks like this Love this level of madness. Of course now there is another certified legendary nut bag that has an Etype shell to play with too.

It is almost as if it should have had its own thread, rather than be buried in with all the other stuff (most of which should also have its own thread ). It is great, looking forward to seeing in action.

Risking sounding like an old fogey here, but how has that got any front suspenion travel?

so were the remains of the shell bought for the id? It is a drift car, so I don't think it is getting road registered. So I don't think they care about the id.

That's nice. At least they had the sense to use a half rotten one. Then nobody can whine about them cutting up a perfectly good example.
With the 1JZ, it'll probably be putting out double the power, but still using less than the old jag lump would have.

Even if they'd started with a complete car, with the amount of mods its got the bulkhead would probably be the only original part left! Stunning piece of work, and good job it may not be used on the road, because if I saw it id probably need medical attention.

As much as I like this, and totally understand the choice of power unit, there's a little piece of me would rather see an XK lump in there with a massive snail strapped to it! That said, it is so nice to see something other than the usual S12/13/14 or other jelly mould J drifters.

I'd love to think that it was some scumbag selling it on eBay as one of those 'bring a skip' type ID sales, expecting the winner to tell him to scrap it. These folk turn up with a trailer and ask them 'Can you give us a hand moving it then?'
Utter win of a build. Is there a thread somewhere for it?
