I'll look them up. The original plan was for my dad to get it working and show me how. But life intrudes and it has'nt happened yet. I know it needs a pressure pump seal so maybe I will start there. Thanks.

Don't buy a seal as they are easy to make I cut them out of an old leather welders glove! They are nice things and a simple item to restore thats useful for camping power cuts etc

Autojumble finds from today. The cars are for my son. And the wee welding clamps were on my "wanted" list. And an old "bedstead" spanner. €15 for the lot DSC_3560 by quickrack, on Flickr These were in a "6 for a fiver" box and who could argue with that?? The "G" clamp is actually brass or bronze?? Could it have been an earth clamp maybe. And the cranks/torch will be wall art. DSC_3559 by quickrack, on Flickr And something for the display case. DSC_3561 by quickrack, on Flickr

The man who I built the Radio Flyer for turned up this gem for me. Gratis!! I intend to find out what it is etc first and if its not rare and valuable it will be narrowed, lightened (a lot) and a hot-rod type body placed over it. Will use a 5hp B&S. It will be for my youngest son's 6th in December. IMG_20170109_000423 by quickrack, on Flickr

Started disassembly. Odd colour in there Everything seems well engineered. The wheels are nylon?? Is that odd?? Its perfect for a bit of re fettling. I reckon I might throw the chassis away and remount everything to fit the kid on a similiar frame. Then sort a wheelbase and start the body to suit. Anyone think its a good/bad plan? The nylon wheels are or were fairly common for use on rental karts. Alloy ones bend if they hit anything hard and being split rims it's easier to swap tyres over. Having looked at the pictures some more it's likely to have had bumpers on it. There are some mounts on the sides of the chassis that look like they are for this. The seat mounting tubes look a bit more like mass produced items so I think it's most likely a rental kart. The chassis itself is very strong and all of the bits like steering swivels are easily replaceable.
Looks like a nice project I will keep an eye on whats going on.

The ones on the rear esp are out of place. Thank you sir!

That red wagon is as cool as pal! A miX of the wagon and the go kart would be brilliant!
