It's a paraffin weed burner, they're called a Sheen X300 - I sold mine earlier this year in GWO for £50, now regretting selling it as the garden's full of weeds! They're pretty lethal if you don't warm them up enough before you open the paraffin tap! Ha ha I cant wait to try it now!! That video was exactly what I needed Service kit for one of these: www.ebay.co.uk/itm/SHEEN-FLAMEGUN-FLAME-GUN-FULL-SERVICE-PACK-/390248376869?_trksid=p2141725.m3641.l6368- TBH, they're dead simple to overhaul. Always regret getting rid of mine; nothing else remotely compares to the fun!

Grizz if you pm me your address, you can have the 2nd one. Its a bit holy, so perfect for your needs. Want a lid?? That sounds awesome. I am sure if I blast n paint it, the outcome will be just perfect. I will PM you in a moment, happy to PayPal postage. If it's easier, I'm in Gravesend and have 2 of these that are looking for a new home to save Alan posting them out.

I guess from a cheeky point of view, if they were all different brands, then choosing one I liked best would be nice. Pod70 what brand are yours?

Here's a photo of the cans. As you can see the one on the right is pretty beaten up and missing a cap whilst the left hand one is rusty but fairly straight. Both are P.O. (Post Office) issue. Grizz - I've sent you a PM if you want to give me a call

Did a bit of bike chopping, grinding, etc. Hell I even used a tape measure! This bit I did a few weeks ago so i could let ideas formulate and stew. DSC_2234 by quickrack, on Flickr Today I put a small ratchet strap between the top and bottom bars and as I tightened it I relieved the join the other end with a torch. This I did till it looked "good". Then I cut the seat post bottom off and removed any tabs etc. Notched the bottom of the frame to fit it in. Then leaned the post rearwards till it looked "good". Tacked it in place and removed all the brake tabs. cable stops etc etc. messenger-quick-cam-1465327488194 by quickrack, on Flickr messenger-quick-cam-1465327547529 by quickrack, on Flickr Then cut the crank off a smaller bike and ground it smooth. messenger-quick-cam-1465327457356 by quickrack, on Flickr And finally with the help of my eldest we did a mock-up to see if it was shaping up well. Sod! Being a beginner to this I didnt realise just how far metal can move with welding, cutting, grinding etc So when I stood back and saw the wheel was no longer in line I started swearing first. Then had a think and cut what i thought was the offending joint. Nope that didnt work either. I ended up cutting the entire rear section off and then apart. So. Here I go again DSC_3218 by quickrack, on Flickr DSC_3219 by quickrack, on Flickr DSC_3222 by quickrack, on Flickr It moved a LOT

A friend asked me to make something in particular. A hellaflush cambered out Radio Flyer So between us we bought a bunch of wheels and tyres. He already owned the Flyer DSC_3433 by quickrack, on Flickr Disassembly. Ever so simple. DSC_3434 by quickrack, on Flickr 20mm steel frame started. DSC_3466 by quickrack, on Flickr Front wheels as bought DSC_3430 by quickrack, on Flickr DSC_3431 by quickrack, on Flickr After a little elbow grease. The missing piece I still have. I will reattach it after the tyre is inflated. No danger there as it will never again be under real load/speed. Spacers made (stainless tube) DSC_3456 by quickrack, on Flickr Mock up.
