Sorry guys!!!! Just been thinking about them recently..... Are they made by Pirelli? Do they only come in 15"? Do they only come in 4x100? Were they an aftermarket wheel? or just made for VW? Some p slot pics....... plain... polished.... on an Audi (4x108 ) on a golf

They did a few different PCDs, but the non 4x100 ones are rare, and 15" 4x100 are rare too ;D They were sold as the "+1 Concept" to introduce new-fangled low profile tyres to the public. You drove your car into an approved retailer and they replaced you wheels and tyres with alloys +1 inch in diameter, and lower profile tyres so the rolling radius remained the same click it for a bigger version

it doesn't matter if it's a Morris Marina or a Toyota Celica - it's what you do with it that counts

they were only made by pirelli in 14". there are 15" versions that, according to pirelli, are unauthorised copies. Not according to their brochure

I've got them on mine, but to be honest I don't really like them! They're the original fitment for my "Campaign" model, with the Series-1 centre caps that have the Pirelli lettering embossed in the centre. i'd love a set of the "other" Pirelli rim pictured above, but I've only ever seen one set for sale in five years, on eBay germany ;D

There are different p sizes and diferent center caps too, some caps are plastic, some are metal.
Thats why alot of polished p slots don't have caps.
Ive got a polished set with metal caps somewhere but not sure where.

There were early and late mk1 P-slots - one had an 8mm gap between the Ps, the other a 10mm gap. I believe there were also versions with 8 Ps instead of the usual 9.
If you're after a set of 15s, sausage bay usually coughs up a set every once in a while

Just checked the set I have at the back of the shed & they are 14's. Missus had them on her Mk1 Golf I think.
