Rear seatbelt in a Cav Sportshatch

Looking to fit a rear seatbelt in my Cav Sportshatch,had a good look around and can't find any pre-drilled mounting points.Has any one fitted one at all and can advise?Cheers

they should be there, visible from the underside as well, usually a place prone to rust! Looks like a square little block of iron welded to the chassis, about 2cm by 2cm.

only picture i can find but it should send you to the correct spot

Nice one thanks!Any idea where they would mount at the top if I fit a three point one?

My Manta hatch (basically the same shell) had rear belts as standard.
The lower mount is as milord showed with an upper mount on the C pillar. The reel itself is bolted below the parcel shelf side supports.
I don't know if the Cavalier hatch parcel shelf side supports has a slot for the belt to go through. Might be a case of cutting the slots and fitting the slot edge trims from a later Manta.

Had a quick look at the bits by the parcel shelves and there's suits in them for a seatbelt to go through so it's looking promising.

I'd expect they'd be present - the HC Viva / Magnum / Firenza range had mountings for optional rear seat belts, which pre-dated the Cavalier by some years. Only issue is if it's been repaired and some have been left out - the lower mounts in my car are in the rear wheelarch tubs, and of a shape that makes them attract mud so they rot out. I haven't replaced them as I'm not 100% on the strength of my welding for something like that. And I don't sit in the back.
