Hey Folks, Bank holiday weekend means there is plenty on. My plans right now are a bit of garage time measuring some things for my new wheels (need to know offsets/widths for barrels on the split rims ). Also want to drop the springs out and see what it is catching on, and work out how to deal with advisories on the MOT. Also probably some garage cleaning, washing the daily Subaru, and thinking about if I should attack it with rims, arches and lowering stick. Forge have their Brunch event, and I'm kinda hoping I can get to it, but I expect I can't because of prior commitments. What car stuff have you got planned?

Off to the Austin A35 Rally in Bath this evening and tomorrow, clutch change on the Celica on Sunday and then some downtime on Monday... which will really be rectifying everything that goes wrong on Sunday! (I am confident that all will go to plan... honest!)

Sadly I'm working 24hr call on Saturday, but Sunday I've got my brothers and nephews coming round to erect my 2 post lift. Hopefully wire it in on Monday (providing I have permission).

Well that was a bust, morning went all to poop so now I can't make it because I've got to be home before the Rover turns into a Pumpkin and four mice for work by a set time. Not thrilled and now kicking my heels a bit. Might be helping with some maintenance on my brother's Applause and trying to get my Princess running again tomorrow, we'll see.

Try to find out why my barsterd daily is smoking like a WW2 destroyer trying to protect a convoy from a U-boat when on boost. Charge up the battery on my Rocco whilst trying not to look at the dreadful paint (Patina ?) then set the timing and mixture ready for the MOT......... Doing some token gardening if it isn't thrashing with rain to make it seem like I do listen to swmbo and her desire for something akin to an exhibit at the Chelsea show

Got the roof rack and ladders on the l300 yesterday so took it down the Galloway Forest. Replaced the water pump, thermostat and housing as well as the core plugs on the Wrangler today and removed the manifold to get ready for the new stainless one.
