What you got guys?
I was thinking about getting a Mk1 Ford Galaxy as it's almost on the way to being retro and you don't see many of them around in good condition!
but what have you lot got for hauling/parts etc.?

Without intention, I've always done the reverse. The modern/daily does fetching and carrying.
So my 05 Focus estate once had about 1/3 an MG ZR 160 in the back of it, including rear beam.
My 06 Saab 9-3 pulled an 800 mile day trip, collecting; 2x gearboxes, 1x differential, a turbo timer, some boost hoses, and some other bits and bobs for my 200sx. It was on its knees for the final leg.
When I had my '93 xr2i replica, wound up using my dads '95 Rover 214sei wedge as a load lugger due to space & mpg.
Seem to save fun cars, for fun stuff.

my 99 Scooby wagon I just love the thing and it is my daily beater but gets looked after. It's had everything done to it, bodywork new sills and new rear arches (but retains its visual tattiness which is what I wanted) , new engine, 280 hp remap etc - I prefer it to my WRX, that hardly gets touched now.

Unfortunately my 330d estate packed up just as we moved house, the in-between car had to be the load lugger!

I use my Smart Fortwo - with trailer although I have managed to get 3 bails of hay in the Smart as more room that you'd think.

My Mk1 Shogun Canvas top has a half cab and tonneau cover option so makes a good pick up as it never had any rear seats or trim. If nothing needs to poke out the top, I can fit the hardtop... Much more fun than a modern one.

This one is a comfy 7 seater, also has a lot of room and a tow bar so pretty handy...

My dad had this for years. 5.2 litre ex army Dodge. It used to tow Lola's and Reynards around without even knowing they where there. Also spent most weekends taking us and the bikes to trials all over the country.

This, which is nice and quick.... ....or sometimes this, which is nice, but not quick. Excellent for towing duties. But not this. Unless what I'm carrying is nice and clean.
