For the last few months I have been in contact- some call it pestering a guy who first posted a few photos this car on another site.
He has it 14 nearly 15 years and it was his first car, he was initially very reluctant but with some gentle persuasion I managed to get a chance to go view it. I was praying he would sell as I had to catch the boat and no other way planned to get home. So after selling my graphite 1993 (to make way for this one) I headed for the mainland.
Low and behold I seen in his garage a very genuine 205. Topaz was made for one year in 1990 so is slightly
Rare(er)
It fell foul of a few max power mods like sub and sound system but bar that it's all there.
Covered 57k miles, original service book all stamped up to 40k, has vast history etc with it. This one is definitely a keeper and I cannot believe he actually has trusted me on taking care of it.
Few things to do but will be seen at a show or two over next year etc here's some pics, I'm sitting in Birkenhead at the minute lol
Just done a 100 mile trip and never missed a beat. Totally loving this one gone to leave it pristine!
Some before and after
Basically all the lights where looking slightly tired and I really wanted to freshen it up, i also removed the k&n and put on the standard induction. It really won't need much else, a new standard exhaust, a detail and a section of drivers seat cloth and it's very good at that
All fitted and some spot light driving protectors also!
It was time for a quick wash and a few snaps! I got some g techniq today to seal trims at a later date
It really needs a good going over and swirls removed but I'm very happy anyway at the minute
Had a spare few hours and tried out some c4 G techniq on the trims! First ever use of the product and it is something else!
Took it a quick blast then, couldn't resist lol
