I've just snipped out the connectors and soldered the wires together
How do I disconnect the wiper motor from the corkscrew shaped wire?

How do I disconnect the wiper motor from the corkscrew shaped wire? Hi, There are two ways depending what you want to do. One) take the wiper arms off the spindles, undo the tube gland nut that holds the guide tube to the motor and just pull motor and 'corkscrew' out of the tube. Two) Take the cover off the motor and gearbox by removing the hexhead screws, inside there is a gear wheel that has a link that goes to the boss at the end of the 'corkscrew' lift this off after removing the circlip. Then lower the motor/gearbox so the guide tube/gland nut/fitting slide out. Colin |

Thanks for the advice. I need to test and then repair or replace the motor.
I've had the dash board off checking the wiring and it seems to be the motor
