In regards to the melted plug, its something that's drawing a good whack of amps and the connection isn't good enough to carry it, thus it gets hot and damages stuff. Sadly showing us photos of motor components isn't really going to help on a diagnosis. If I had that in front of me, could probably sort no trouble. Provided its even a motor issue. You have some very suspect wiring there..

I have been in doubt it was the motor since the wipers just stopped working one day. I had a look at the wiring which is shoddy at best. Cut out the bas connector and soldered the wires back together. There was also a 5 pin connector near the motor that was also fried. So that was changed.

Went to start my car this morning to take it to the MOT centre. Did it start, Did it curse word!!!
