parcel company that will take paint

i've bought some oil based paint that i was going to paint my car with but have decided not to use it but i can't seem to find anyone that will take it, anyone know who would take it.

Just put "Handle with care - Bulk Semen" on the outside so people are careful with it and not suspicious when it makes glugging noises.

To be fair , i usually label my bulk orders of semen as paint to avoid embarrassment and suspicion [ 45 gallon drums ]

What size are the tins?

So long as they're 5 litres or smaller you can stick LQ (Limited Quantity) diamond labels 100x100mm and you don't need to declare as dangerous goods.

Use the correct LQ labels: white diamond with black top and bottom tips.

APC good carrier and damages rarely occur with them and they do take paint stuffs

Edit: paint is dangerous goods (UN1263), but the LQ exemption is accepted by pretty much all carriers.

I've sent loads out and just put car parts on the box . . Just wrap well in bubble wrap I normally put it in a sealed bag too .

But never had a damaged one turn up

Graff City have sent my last 3 purchases via UPS so maybe give them a try?

apc and ups both said no way to sending paint, the only courier i've found is paisley freight who say they will take it but there is no insurance for damage.
i'm not bothered about that i was more bothered about it spilling and causing damage.
it's a bit of a strange one as i've had paint delivered loads of times before from various company's unless they are not telling them but i wouldn't have thought so.

It could be because to them it seems like you're asking them to carry dangerous goods, and they don't understand the regulations or the fact there are partial exemptions from them if packaged and labelled in the correct way.

If you ask them for a price on a Limited Quantity consignment it might make a difference. Royal Mail carry LQ.

Also TNT carry paint, we use them all the time.
They normally just need the UN number of what you are sending.

I work for Parcelforce. Use TNT they carry dangerous and hazardous.

I'm a delivery driver for APC, i pick up paint and paint stripper that we send out every day

TNT will send paint and other liquids as will PDP.

I sub contracted to APC a few years ago and picked up paint everyday from a company in Se London,in small amounts they deffo carry it
