Walter. White. The only reason for anyone to want an Aztec... HAHA! My buddy wants it because his Halloween costume is going to be Meth Lab Walter White and he wants to arrive in this thing! I told him to just buy it from me lol
But as far as Scooby is concerned, It arrived on a tow truck, with no power, they said "It's got a hole in the block, it doesn't run". SO I left it sit here for a few days until this morning, we need the garage space for a party today.

Oh HEY! The shipping company called me this morning and said "tomorrow" for the Scooby engine. On the final day that it was supposed to be delivered. Hooray, jackasses. Could have told me last week this information & I would have done something different today. Meanwhile, in other builds- we took that Mustang Engine out of the back of the Durango and put it on a stand. What's special about that, you ask? Nothing- except that a guy at the parts store mentioned that he saw a good engine stand in a thrift store down the road. I went and had a look, it was still there & I bought it. 26 dollars. Now that, is special.

I WISH! Nope, it's probably by the weekend, I'm still waiting on the exhaust header and the clutch. Swapping all the little bits off the top of of the engine and getting them over to the new one, should be interesting, most of that stuff, I've no idea what it does.

Off-road mud/snow tyres sounds like a great idea to me. The ride height doesn't look too bad but if you want big tyres i'd suggest swapping out the suspension uprights for Forester items. I love the look of this silver one. Only things I would add are the lighting and sump guards from the blue one Check this thread out for some great ideas on lighting and chassis guards link

Long day at work, but then came home to an engine sat on a pallet. Hooray! I started on it right away but could only work on it until about 8pm, I started to fizzle out. I'm off to work today, but I'll get back on it when I get home. I need a fresh brain to get this right, since I've never touched a turbo motor in my life. Should be fine...

Turbo engines are easy. Reading Klingon? That's hard.

Ok Subaru Gurus! I got it INSTALLED. It's in. I worked on it all day, 100% buttoned up, filled with fluids and hit the key at 1:06 AM. Starter spins the engine, no bang. Don't know how to check spark, it has a factory security light on the dash, no idea about that either. I checked everything over and can't find anything wrong. I'm too tired to continue. I'll look at it in the morning. Pics too. The engine is in and I want to daily drive this thing for a few weeks. I'll check this board after I hit my pillow with a vengeance

You changed over the camshaft position sensors ? Had it with a impreza i put a new engine in (jdm twin turbo converted to single) Would crank but wont start. Changed the camshaft sensors and it run first click.
Did you also swap over ecu ? Because it has an immo in it so then it wouldnt start also.

I took the cam sensor and the crank sensor from the old, running engine. Put them on new motor, no change. But I may have damaged the crank sensor when I pulled it out of the old block. I'll buy one when I'm out today. Something tells me that's not it. Everything is plugged in where it goes, no idea at this moment. I smell fuel, so I know it's getting here.
