There's nothing stopping people using just about any photo they like when selling. I'd be more inclined to think it's just a "borrowed" photo

To be fair, it does look like they have bought some of them and no reason they couldn't if they are a registered breakers as they can buy scrap vehicles.

always thought vehicles that went through the scrappage scheme all them years ago were for frag only, no parts to be recycled.

Personally I would be delighted if they were scrappage, at least the parts can finally be put to use and recycled even if the cars themselves can't be returned to the road.

as above, at least if they were scrappage cars then some good use could come from it. that scrappage scheme was a f-ing disgrace of an idea, consumerism at its worst too. i remeber going to my local yard at the time needing parts for my mk2 polo (fuel tank, predictably) and all the usual interesting cars were all stored elsewhere, they told me they couldnt scrap the cars they were getting from garages fast enough. madness... (not that you were wondering but yard was larrys scrapyard in woodbury deepest darkest )devon, old school yard, used to be well worth an explore...) anyway i agree probably a borrowed photo, and also not something i would do either. its a copyright infringment anyway!

Looking through the pics in their other listings it seams that have bought all the remaining cars from the scrappage scheme. That white xr2i and the land rovers are deffinatly from the airfield site aswell.
