Couldn't resist buying a second 309 a year ago...the colour sold it to me. Since then I have had to sell a couple of cars to clear some room ( other 309 and reliant rialto) It was lowered on front by previous owner and I fitted these 15inch steels as I wasn't a fan of the 1.6gti wheels. I also swapped tailgate with other car as I didn't like the rubber spoiler Recently replaced rear beam for a lowered one and swapped front springs for coilovers so I could go lower. A local fabrication company GIZFAB made me up a bolt on sump guard which is doing a great job. I also found some capri pepperpots for sale that had been adapted to fit on a 205 so bought them and put them straight on

On the interior I swapped seats and door cards and fitted wooden steering wheel

That's a great looking 309. Can't remember the last time I saw a pre face-lift one in real life.

Decided it needed more power so removed the 1.9 na engine I bought a 306 d turbo and removed engine from it. I have stripped engine down and painted block, replaced headgasket and cambelt kit. Also fitted bosch pump instead of the lucas pump it did have. I'll get some pictures over weekend when hopefully will have it fitted
