in 2015 my father and i were talking abouting doing a project togther. He had always craved a TE20 or little grey fergie as he learnt to drive on so at the begining of august 2015 the search was on.
On a farm near stevenage we found this little petrol TEA20
these are the pictures from the ebay add
A week later after my dad had a test drive, Dusted off his wallet and purchased the above fergie
Two weeks later i collected the fergie with a friend
The next day we my dad came over to inspect his new purchase we have it a good degreese to get rid of decades of oil and farm muck and work out what was needed
the bonnet was full of holes from different lights and mirrors so i set about repairing that first
i stripped all the paint off the inside and outside and welded the holes up
I also discovered the oil bowl on the air filter was leaking so i welded up the pin holes
Not alot happened on the fergie till last weekend due to family comitments and wanting to finnish my beetle
so dad and i decided to strip the oils out of the tractor and discovered and few years supplys of mayonase int he gearboxes
so we stripped the hydraulic pump out and cleaned all the sludge out. Pump looked in nice condiiton and all seals look perfect
Sunday we set about stripping down the tractor, with the help of namless off here
Front axle all gone showing very oily engine
then off came the engine and on to apallet for the time being
To discover another oily mess in the bell housing
Next we roll the gearbox around and took the wheels off
Namless getting dug into taking all the wheel nuts
thats all for now till saturday
