Back in September 2016, Mr HARDCORE and I ventured to Southern California to sample the various auto-related delights it had to offer. Over the following week, and detailed in several upcoming threads, are our experiences. I cannot take credit for the pics, Andy is a much better photographer with much better kit - my HTC One simply wouldn't do justice here. Hope you enjoy, as we start with the newly revamped Petersen Museum. Sporty BMWs featured heavily in the foyer. Seems exceedingly brave giving a racing driver that sort of control. "So if I turn this the car goes faster?" "Yes but...." *frantically twiddles knob*

Very nice! I went twelve years ago for the Hot Wheels special exhibit and enjoyed the whole thing, we even made it into a basement tour of the other items that didn't fit. Thanks for the pics!

Great pictures, did you get a tour of the vault? P. We came back the following day for a vault tour - unfortunately you're not allowed to take pictures down there.

Hasn't Richard Rawlings got a car in there? Can't remember what it is but he allows them to exhibit it whilst it appreciates in value?
