Will Carter of this parish highlighted this game to me during the summer. I hadn't really looked at it much untill I spent a week in hospital, from then on I was pretty hooked. It's a retro style left to right scrolling racing game that uses - as the name suggests - pixel car (1" to one pixel) style graphics.
It's been through a series of updates and modifications since then but the basic premise of race, earn money and then modify your car hasn't changed.
Initially I was playing this with the aim of getting the fastest 1/4 mile time I could, but after I got as fast as I felt I could go it got a bit repetative, so I sold all the modified cars and tried to build up some themed garages.
The last update however included a livery editor, I've really been enjoying that. My first irst try was just a simple "Team Zero" style stripe, and some lettering and two tone on an R31.
Next came some inspiration from the Black Emperor/Garage Matsuda Skyline. No C10 sedan in the game unfortunately.
I continued the theme of racing liveries to build a Retro-Racer garage.
The Monte Mini and Herbie got swapped for a Mustang and Camaro. I'd also modified the RX-3 to look like the Liberty Walk car that was at TAS.
Never happy with the LB RX-3 I took some more inspiration from the Black Emperor club, and made a long tail R31 with Kaido racer paint.
The garage then went from retro racers to Japanese car show with another couple of R31's (one dressed as the Z20 Soarer from Shakotan Boogie as a companion to the Yanky Mate 240ZG).
